There are literally hundreds of wood species to choose from to build your project.  We’ve use a wide variety of wood species over the years including maple, birch, cherry, walnut, mahogany, wenge, padouk, and others.  The choice of wood specie for your library, home office, or bar will depend on the “look and feel” you want to achieve, whether your media cabinetry will be painted or stained, and of course the effect that the material choice has on the final price.
