When we first meet we’ll spend some time getting to know you and listening to what you want to achieve with your woodworking project. We’ll take a look at the area you want to transform and discuss your ideas for the design. We will then make suggestions and talk about alternatives that you may not have considered. Once we have an overall concept we can begin to sketch out some ideas based on our discussions.
The sketch on the right is a drawing made during the initial visit with one of our clients.
Once we have an initial concept of your project we can create an elevation drawing for you. This can either be a drawing done by hand or one done using our drawing software. Sometimes this process is completed in one attempt. It is more likely however that it takes several passes to reach a final design that meets your needs.
After we have a design that you are satisfied with and we have an agreement to move forward we go to work to create shop drawings. Your custom cabinetry will be fabricated in our shop located in Howard County, Maryland. If your project requires special moldings, carvings, or custom veneer we go to work with our suppliers to specify these based on your design.
We continue to work with you during the fabrication process to ensure that we get your input along the way.
When your project is completed we deliver it and install it for you. We treat your home as if it was our own and we make every effort to minimize the disruption associated with the installation of custom built-in cabinetry.
We take pride in our work and our goal is to ensure that you are satisfied not only with your new custom cabinetry but also that you are happy with the overall process.
