The design we develop for you must meet your functional requirements and your esthetic objectives.  Our focus on quality and craftsmanship will exceed your expectations.
If you are already working with an interior designer or architect, or if you have completed a design on your own, then you are ahead of the game.  We’ll be happy to work with your designer or architect and build your project according to their plans.  If you want input from A Cut Above on existing plans we’ll be glad to provide our recommendations.  library photo

However, it’s more likely that you are starting “from scratch” and need some help.  These are some basics things that you should be thinking about as you begin to envision your project.

step1

What do you want from this project?  Is this project to be purely esthetic or will it have a functional aspect such as a media room, entertainment center, or home office?

step3

Do you envision your new project to be stained or natural; painted or antiqued?  What type of finish do you want?

step2

What are your tastes?  What style is your home décor now?  Does this project need to fit in with the existing décor or will it stand alone?

step4

What specie of wood is best suited for the project?  Are you thinking of a domestic hardwood like maple, cherry, or walnut?  Do you want to consider other, more unusual woods?

One way to begin to answer some of these questions is to check out Our Suppliers.  There you can check out a wide variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods by visiting Hardwoods Incorporated.  You can see a myriad designs for cabinet doors and moldings at WalzCraft.  If you are interested in one-of-a-kind carvings the you should definitely visit CamCraft3D.

If you can imagine it – we can make it happen…
